 Using a logo I created in Digital Media, I edited it on photoshop to give it visual effects that look like scratches and bits of dust. This is what the original logo looked like: And this is what it looks like now: I really like how it looks after the effects. It feels like it was scratched onto a wall on a post-apocalyptic future.

In 2023, a new mob was announced by the popular game developers Mojang to decide on which out of three new mobs will be added to Minecraft. Each of these mobs were all very good picks, which is rare to see. Mojang is usually very lazy when adding new content to Minecraft, and now the gamers had three options which all seemed good. The problem is, they were all so good it made the Minecraft community angry that they had to pick only one good option out of three. They deciding to begin an online protest in a way to force Mojang to be less lazy and give them all three mobs.  By the time I finished the poster, one of the mobs had already been decided, which is why I only put two in the poster as a way of saying to give them all to the Minecraft community. I thought the phrase "We aren't playing games anymore" is pretty funny because of how serious it is, so I decided to use that. Sketch Final Black and White Version 3 Color Versions Artist's Statement The black and white logo I made really charms me in its simplicity. The straightforward lines and shapes presents a degree of innocence, but the lack of color makes the creature seem otherworldly. I feel like he could be either a helpful presence or a mystical threat if you were to meet him in a post-apocalyptic world. My personal favorite of the designs is the black and white version, but I also like the modified third version where he looks like a godly embodiment of the night sky. Inspirational Images

I liked how he would mostly explain how to activate the tools with a keyboard shortcut key, like using “T” for text. I will definitely be using the shortcuts, that’s going to make it much easier. I think I will mostly struggle with the curvature tool, it looks hard to use and a bit complicated. The guy recommending to draw the outline is good advice, I will definitely be doing that. I like how you can choose whatever point you want along the lines drawn, but the whole idea of vectors and drawing these lines still feels complicated, its something I’m going to have to work on.      The internet is a word so synonymous with the culture of today that some people probably think of it as a concept. Those people are actually completely right. It’s a system, a word for the network of networks existing on computers, phones, and much more. The main idea behind the internet is a way to connect people who are not currently next to each other. More than half the population of the world use the internet for many different reasons, and it’s basically a necessary facet to living in the modern age unless you are still growing your own food. We can call what is sent to others on the internet “information”, whether that be the weather for tomorrow or a love confession.      The first idea of the internet being able to share resources and information through machines was first realized by ARPANET, a United States defense program. Hello world! My name is David Z, and this is my blog. I am a student at the University of Tampa, currently studying under the film major. I love movies, and just recently watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, a beautiful romantic drama starring Jim Carrey. I also love music and have recently gotten into the band Della Zyr, as beautiful shoegaze and post-rock unit that just started in 2022. I would highly recommend them! My dream is one to one day make movies in the genre of romance and drama, as well as direct my own animated movie. I have several hundred pages of idea already written out. I am currently working on my first animated short film with an animator I hired over the internet, and am also writing out the plot for a romantic comedy I plan to direct and star in.
