Portfolio

When I started work on the portfolio, I purposely picked the loudest, most abrasive template I could find. The template was about 4 pages long, so with the 4 pages of content it gave me I spread it out among the 13 pages I ended up making for my portfolio. I think it led to a tasteful design, and I'm very happy with how it looks! I tried my best to inject some personality into the written parts next to the examples of my work. 

Business Cards

The nature of my logo being such simple shapes and colors means that minimalism is the best way to go when making business cards. My logo is also slightly creepy, so I figured that the lack of visual information adds to the mystique of it. It makes the cards look like something that would be handed to someone in a movie to call a secret organization.

I don't totally understand the layout of the pages you generate or the importance of it, but I have a feeling it won't be too hard to learn. This video also explains layers, which I am already famliar with having worked with Adobe products before. It was cool learning about in this video and in class how you can make a preset that you can use to affect all objects marked with that preset, or turn objects into that preset. For example, having a text preset that makes it red and underlined.
